Too Big to Fail?
Bank failure is an oxymoron. Or, at least, so it would seem if you ignore reports from the 1930s, the 1980s and the 2010s. Experimentation by banks? Another oxymoron. Yet, where do you think check-writing and ATMs came from? The team from Failure - the Podcast doesn’t remember seeing either of those in late-afternoon episodes of the Flintstones.

He headed-up the office by that same name (yep, you got it, the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency) between 2012 and 2017. That’s the office charged with chartering, regulating and supervising national banks. Learn what Tom says about the necessity of experimentation in the banking system, including, in areas like blockchain and cryptocurrency.
